    Mid-Century Modern “Sprite-Lite” table lamp by Richard Barr for Laurel, USA, 1960’s

    First time published in the 1965 Laurel Catalog and unanimously recognized as the most beautiful high-intensity lamp in America, the Model D750 known as the “sprite-lite” has impressed since its appearance with its aerodynamics sculptural shape and versatility (can be used as a table, desk, bedside or wall lamp due to a mounting hole under the base) and continues to impress even today, when it is hunted by collectors and design lovers around the world. This true work of futuristic art that excels in both form and finish, was specially designed by sculptor Richard Barr for Laurel Lamp Co. in the early 1960’s, with a die-cast sculpted base (incorporating the transformer which by its weight gives the lamp a very good stability) and two-toned shade, which houses a high intensity light bulb. Originally the “sprite-lite” was offered in black, white, green, sand, tangerine, mustard, and blue with Swedish brass accents. Also offered in polished chrome with black accents, or all Swedish brass.The lamp is multi adjustable and can pivots easily both at the base and at the shade. The lamp on offer is in black with polished chrome accents, with all the original components (including electrics) and is equipped with voltage converter 220V to 110V and European plug. Laurel manufacture sticker still present on shade interior. Fully functional with some minor wear, the lamp is in very good vintage conditions. Bulb is included, but 12V high-intensity replacement bulb are broadly available anyway.     Impressive Italian 7 Arms Arc Lamp from 1970s

    This huge Italian "Arc" floor lamp with a Goffredo Reggiani style design is a real eye-catcher in any interior be it home, office, restaurant or hotel. The elegance of the 7 light points creates a warm atmospheric light and the organic inspire style and tranquility. This floor lamp can be mounted in various shapes due to the fact that the arms are individually adjustable and the lampshades can turn all the way around.     GS195 Gianni Songia Daybed in Navy Blue Andrew Muirhead Fine Scottish Leather, Italy, 1963

    This glamorous three-seat daybed and sofa was designed by Gianni Songia for Sormani, Italy, in 1963. Model GS-195 with leather cushions. The elegant frame is built from rosewood and can be used as an extremely comfortable three-seat sofa with adjustable backrest. The backrest can also slide backwards which then transforms the piece into a comfortable bed. The frame is in good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear and preserved the original springs net (the elasticity of the springs net has been strengthened and now is very comfortable). The original cushions have been reupholstered with a beautiful pale Navy Blue Fine Leather from Andrew Muirhead & Son, Scotland. Elegant, refined, proving the excellence of the Modernariato Italian design, this eye-catcher and mood maker piece fit both the sumptuous interiors as central pieces, and the minimalist ones as design accents.

    Elegant and rare set of 4 dining chairs designed by Miroslav Navratil and made in former Czechoslovakia in the 1960s. The chairs feature a clean, geometric, minimalistic design. The upholstery is made of purple fabric and black faux leather. The set is in good vintage condition with only minor signs of use (see photos).
