    Rosewood set with 3-seater sofa & 2-seater sofa by Lennart Bender for Stjernmobler

    Impressive Scandinavian Modern solid varnished rosewood set with a 3-seater sofa and 2-seater sofa designed by Lennart Bender for Stjernmobler in Herrljunga, Sweden, in the 1960s. The sofas are accompanied by three lovely pillows. Condition Report: The frame is structurally sound, incredibly strong and sturdy, rosewood is in good vintage condition. The upholstery is in original condition so show uniform signs of wear due to age and use, with some rips on the back of long pillows (please see the photos). Although we avoid altering the original elements, we still recommend reupholstery in this case. Please note that we can reupholster the sofas according to your preference, so please contact us if you wish this. If you need additional details or pictures, do not hesitate to contact us. These sofas are, in themselves, rare items. All the less together as a set. Elegant, refined, proving the excellence of the Scandinavian design, the two pieces fit both the sumptuous interiors, as central pieces, and the minimalist ones, as design accents.

    Norwegian Modern coffee table

    Coffee table made in Norway, late 60s. The counter-top is made of veneered wood; the legs are made of stainless steel with hard plastic clogs. The counter-top edges are cut inwards giving this piece a light non-intrusive look. The legs are not plain, but made of three thin rods. The minimalist shape, the dialogue between wood and stainless steel, the curved edges, the line of the counter-top, all of this make this table a leading exponent of Scandinavian Modern style. The piece is in good vintage condition (see photos).

    Mid-century Teak Daybed by Edvard Kindt Larsen for Gustav Bahus

    A stunning and comfortable midcentury sofa made in Norway, designed by Edvard Kindt Larsen for Gustav Bahus in the 1960s. An exceptional sofa both for its form and quality. Features two pull-out tables in a teak frame, with a two cushion back and single seat cushion upholstered in nugget brown fabric, making this sofa just as comfortable as it is beautiful, with amazing form. The sofa rests on tapered, round teak legs. This clever design features teak pull-out tables at each end of the couch that can transform the sofa into a daybed when the two back cushions are placed on them. The tables can also be used without the cushions, as small coffee tables, magazine supports, etc. The seat of the sofa opens on a hinge, revealing a storage area with a hanging canvas base. Condition Report: The frame is structurally sound, incredibly strong and sturdy, teak is in excellent condition. The upholstery is no tears or rips in fabric but shows signs of wear in the seating area in accordance with age. Please note that we can reupholster the sofa according to your preference, so please contact us if you wish this. The underside of the sofa has the manufacturer’s stamp (Gustav Bahus, made in Norway).     Beautiful teak sideboard made in the United Kingdom, in the 1960, by Jentique. The design of Jentique furniture followed the tastes of the times and the company did particularly well during the 1950s and 1960s, tapping into the hugely popular mid-century modern style inspired by Danish design. Today, teak Jentique furniture from this period has become an affordable collectors' item prized for being attractive, well-made pieces.  All of the drawers move smoothly, the cabinets door runs smoothly too.     Displaying Art Deco geometries, this elegant table is made of particle board and wood and features brown lacquered surfaces. Made in the 1950s in Germany, the table has an exquisite look. The sides are slightly trapezoidal and nicely decorated with different colored veneer. The tables has some small defects and scratches on the sides and on the top (visible in the photos) but it is in an overall good vintage condition.

    Beautiful Art Deco mantel clock made in the late 1930s or early 1940s. It features a very elegant cylindrical wood case placed on a exquisite wood base. The golden dial, with Art Deco numbers is impressive in it's rigor and minimalism. The clock is in very good condition with only small age-related traces. The movement mechanism uses a pendulum. The clock chimes mark every hour (with a number of strikes/bells that equals the hour) and half hour (with just one strike/bell).

The armchairs are made of teak and features fixed cushions in a soft green textile. he design is distinguished by its bowed armrests, clean joinery, and the delicate, V-shaped supports cradling the base of the backrest. Retains the original brass France & Son label on the underside of the frame. One of the armchairs has a restored armrest (see photos) but the items are in an overall good vintage condition.

    Beautiful and very comfortable Windsor 478 armchair with ottoman. This armchair was designed by Lucian Ercolani for Ercol and was manufactured during the 1950s in the United Kingdom. The frame of the armchair and ottoman are made of solid ash-wood. The quiet dialogue between the green of the upholstery and the honey-color of the wood is very elegant and the item is in a very good vintage shape. It preserves both original labels (the one on the armchair is just a partial, but the one on the ottoman is intact).
